MD, assistant professor of medicals informatics at Paris Descartes university. I work on reusing healthcare data for medical research. I’m specialized in Public Health and also conducted statistical analysis for published clinical and epidemiolocial studies.
My former work focused on information extraction from text data with NLP. I developped methods to extract and analyze data from narratives using data and expert driven approaches as well as knowledge from literature and medical terminologies. I developped a web application available for researchers at Georges Pompidou European Hospital to help in their information extraction tasks.
My current challenge is to make Deep Learning recent advances in transfer learning available to common medical research problems with limited labeled data.
