Moreno Ursino is a Research Fellow at INSERM, based in Paris at the Centre de Recherche des Cordeliers de Jussieu (CRC). He is a mathematical engineer with a PhD in Biostatistics, awarded from the Politecnico di Torino in 2014 (supervisor professor Mauro Gasparini). During the PhD, he worked in collaboration with doctors of the Gastroenterology Ward of Cardinal Massaia Hospital (Asti – Italy) and with biologists of HuGeF (Turin – Italy).
After, he moved to Paris to join the InSPiRe European project as a member of the work-package 1 on novel methodology in dose-finding. He is now working on a meta-analysis project, funded by INCa, in collaboration with the Goerge Mason University (Fairfax VA, USA). Moreno’s primary research interests are in the statistical design and analysis of clinical trials including pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics.
